Leon started skydiving in 1997, and averages 500 jumps per year. He says that his favorite place to skydive, other than at Ventura, is Monterey Bay. He likes jumping at Ventura Skydiving Center because of the beautiful views of the Channel Islands, Santa Barbara, Downtown LA, and...loves Suit-Up Saturdays.
He has jumped at various locations across the USA, as well as Norway and Switzerland. His favorite skydiving discipline: wingsuits and zoo dives, and "the less discipline the better!" The largest formation skydive that Leon has been a part of is a 20-way, but he loves anything as long as he is on the load. Most jumps in one day: 14.
When not working, he might be found relaxing at Venice Beach, Neptune's Net, Emma Wood State Beach, or El Rey Cantina, which are some of his favorite places. His hobbies include BASE Jumping, Wingsuit Flying, Surfing, Rock Climbing, and Backpacking...actually, too many to list! Other random facts about Leon:
